LEARN HOW TO MAKE A TASTY GINGER BREAD COOKIES.

Ginger bread cookies is one of everyone favorite holiday cookies. This German-sweetheart popularly takes the shape of a stylized human. 


It is great for baking for children and can be used for a lovely homemade Christmas present. ginger bread can be very finicky at times and with the wrong recipe your ginger bread can become a total blunder!!!


 So we prepared an easy recipe that is elaborate and simple to handle let take a look at them!.












EQUIPMENT.



  • Measuring cups.
  • Measuring spoons.
  • parchment paper or grease proof paper.
  • Stand mixer.
  • cookie cutters. like persons,treas, circles.
  • Baking trays.
  • measuring spoons or spatula.
  • pastry brush.
  • scale.
  • Rolling pins.

INGREDIENTS.



  • 350grams general purpose flour,plus extra for rolling.
  •  4 ounce of butter. 
  • ½ tablespoon of salt.
  • 1 tablespoon of ground ginger.
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 3½ ounce of brown sugar.
  • 9 ounce of molasses. 
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
  • ¼ tablespoon of baking soda
  • ½ tablespoon of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cloves.
  • 1 big egg.
  • 2 tablespoon of golden syrup.

INSTRUCTIONS.


1. Add ground ginger,cinnamon powder,baking soda,nutmeg,ground cloves,salt and flour together in a large bowl. stir mixture uniformly and set aside.

2. In a separate bowl add brown sugar and butter and stir together by massaging thoroughly with hands or you can use the stand mixer to mix for about 3 minutes at a medium speed.
3. In the butter-sugar mixture,add molasses, beaten eggs and vanilla extract to it and stir or mix using mixer for about 50 seconds.
4.Add the first powder mixture of ginger,cinnamon and others to the batter and continue steering until mixture is completely incorporated and dough is a fine thick and tacky batter. 
5. Allow dough to be chilled and thick by placing in the refrigerator for minimum of two hours
6. Preheat the oven to 350⁰F 
7. Roll dough in a 1½ inch thickness on a floured surface and rolling pins,flip dough on both sides over flour to prevent stickiness. 
8. Use cookie cutter to cut dough in any shape as much as you want to bake.
9. Arrange dough on a baking tray neatly sepereating each one from the other.
10. Place tray containing dough in hot oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes. but remove in between and turn them over.
11. Allow to cool.
12. For decoration you can use the writing or royal icings to decorate your Ginger bred Cookies.

Recipe Note:



  • Mixing instructions: Note that to obtain a perfect ginger bread cookies your dough must be thick and tacky, this would form shape. if gluten and watery try to add more powder like ground cloves,or floor.
  • Freezing instructions: For longer freezing of dough-lasting up to a month cover and wrap dough with a plastic bag before refrigerating. secondly cooling temperature should be regulated.
