       12 SNACK PACKS TO TAKE WITH YOU ON ANY JOURNEY.







Every journey has its pitfall, hazard and challenges, but the worse of all hazards to be faced with it is hunger. When we travel,we stop at a fast food option to grab either a snack or a drink.  

Basically, it's important that you chose the right snack,for your journey type. If your choice of snack is less nutritive,there's a chance that your well-planned journey wouldn't be enjoyable but long and tiring.

      So i have complied a list of our favorite and most recommended snack list that you can either make yourself or grab from a snack store if you plan to keep yourself healthy,refreshed,energized and hall all travel-long.  

Cheddar And Almond Sandwich.





Awesome snack,savory and delicious. This perfect recipe is  not just mind-blowing but satisfying as well. The freshly made sandwich bread is filled in with crumbs of almond, sliced tomatoes,some onions,veggies and cucumber. 


For filling mayonnaise and cheese is blended together and used. It has an average amount of carbohydrate, fats and oil,(obtained from almonds and cheese), vitamins from veggies and tomatoes, proteins from almonds as well. We recommend that this is sliced in half and wrapped in plastic bag or foil to avoid ingredient from falling down.

Protein Bites 




In preparation of this, no baking is required. In 4 to 5 quick steps you can prepare your cookie-like treat. 


All thats required is:

A). Any nuts of your preference example : almonds,cashew nuts,peanuts. 

B). Oatmeal

C). Dark chocolate chips / honey. 
the almond has high level of fats and oil which acts as energy boasters,the oatmeal is a great antioxidants they help fight cancers. honey has great antibacterial properties they also help heal wounds and worn out tissues. 

STEPS. 
1. Pour sliced nuts in a bowl
2. Make a thick paste of oatmeal,chocolate chips and honey. 
3. Add nuts in the paste. mix well 
4. Make and divide in small porportions. 
5. Allow to dry and pack.

Healthy Yogurt Parfait.



This desert should be best that when cold.a parfait is a simple mixture of whipped cream, beaten egg and fruit. An awesome combinations. 


yogurt provides a much better nutritive value as its contains both proteins and less carbohydrate which the body is in great need of during long travel-session. 


It can be packed in a portable container, arranged in layers,then topped with a drizzle of honey and sprinkle of toasted oats to add crunch to the snack pack.

Cappuccino muffins.




These has proved itself in the course of time. it is also a favorite of mine that we recommend to many. the cappuccino muffins are best enjoyed with a cup coffee and glass of milk. 


Can be served as breakfast or desert. It is made with ground cinnamon, granules of coffee and vanilla extract. A perfect combination of anti-oxidants and energy boasters.


Liege Waffles.





Liege waffles are much sweater and much denser than the American waffles and Belgian waffles. The waffles are made from a yeast dough which was made from the brioche bread dough and then sugar is added to the outside of the waffles towards the end of the cooking to create a caramelized sugar coating. 


This gives the waffles a sweet flavor. These waffles makes a great combination when taken together with served ice cream or fruits.

Dates Bars.






A nicely made date bars packed with the right drinks,fruits or snack-extras to go along with them would absolutely work for you as your On-the go snack. 


For filling dates,sugar and cider are combined together and cooked over  a medium until soft for the topping cinnamon,sugar,oats,brown sugar and flour are mixed. 


So these dates bars are highly nutritive and are anti-oxidants because of cinnamon,oats and cider. We recommend that it is packed in an airtight bag.


Roasted pepper chicken veggies. 





Pepper chicken veggies makes this wrap a quick flavored-packed snack. Roll up whatever veggies you have on hand and stock in some sliced roasted barbecue. 


You can also sprinkle some cheese to obtain a creamy kick. Pack chicken veggie wraps in a paper bag.

POPCORN.





We recommend that you chose an apricot cherry popcorn squares rather than some regular cheesy popcorn. 


Popcorn and cherries are combined and put in a mixture of water,syrup, sugar and lemon juice. Then popped. If your are in need of a delicious and wholesome snack to travel with popcorn is the best!


Potato Chips.




These are great snacks to take with you on a journey, but we recommend that you combine them with a chilled drink or yogurts for satisfactory purpose. 


Potato chips are rich in carbohydrates, dietary fiber and potassium. Its a great snack to lash on when going on your superfluous journey.


Granola bars.




These are great options to opt for when picking out the perfect snack pack for your travel. its chewy,savory and tasty and keeps your mouth busy and hungry for more. 


Your granola bars is ready when oats are toasted/preheated and added to a mixture of honey,vanilla extracts,peanut butter, and coconut shreds. this whole mixture is baked and allowed to dry completely before slicing. 


We recommend that its packed in airtight bag to prevent bars from becoming sticky and messy.


 Energy Bars.




As the name implies this bars are made to provide energy to the body when we take them. This makes it perfect for travel. 


To make this meljol dates, They are roughly chopped and mixed with raw cashews,unsweetened cocoa powder, cayenne pepper and vanilla extract (all of which are high in carbohydrates is used). 


Chocolate Souffles 




Here dark chocolate is melted and mixed with roux of butter,flour and cold milk. Sugar, Cayenne pepper,egg yolk and pinch is added to the chocolate mixture. 


Souffles should be cooked and then allowed to cool before enjoying every bite!!!!
